Post 1: Ads

Their ads doubled the visits and sold almost nothing.

March: 11,009 visits, 0.29% bought. 5,600 ad visits brought 1 order.

What it means: they saw record visits and thought the ads worked. The ads were aimed at clicks, not buyers. Without them, 0.80% bought.

Check who buys, not how many visit.

I have two Site Check slots this week: £350, results in five days. Message me if you want one.

Post 2: Landing pages

Sending ads to the homepage cost them 12× the sales.

Homepage: 0.09% bought. The rings collection the ad showed: 1.06%.

What it means: the people clicking wanted to buy. The ads pointed them at the wrong page.

Send every ad to the page it shows.

Post 3: Email

Email was their best channel in GA4, but not because of the newsletters.

1,230 newsletter sends: 2 orders. 4 of 9 email orders came from basket reminders.

What it means: the real sales were people coming back to a basket they had already filled.

Ask for the email at the basket, then chase it.
